I’ve discovered the magical world of ceramic art fairly late in life and I’m delighted to have finally arrived. I’ve always been immersed in some sort of creativity, from writing to macrame to crochet (some of my items are in the shop) and art. But this, creating with clay, has now become my main passion.
There is still much to learn but my small batch, mainly bespoke business ‘HarriArt’ is taking off, so I’m happy to showcase and open a small online shop.
I work in my garden shed and choose to handbuild and sculpt my creations rather than wheel throw (although occasionally I will throw) but I find the process of handbuilding, although quite lengthy, more creative and satisfying. I like to make things that reflect the world’s beauty - all perfectly imperfect, like life - mixing art with nature, adding whimsy and vibrant colours. In some of my creations, if you look closely, you’ll find hidden stories. Most of my items are low-fired to keep the energy consumption down.
I will be at Duck Pond Market in Marlow on Saturday, April 26th from 10am https://duckpondmarket.com/marlow
Purchase Information
To purchase any of my pieces from my SHOP or to discuss a commission, in the first instance, please contact me via the form below. Due to the fragility of my art, postage, and particularly packaging, plus courier service, need to be considered with care. Collection is preferred. Crochet items are obviously easier to send.
